Google launched "Indoor Maps" for 75 locations in 22 Indian cities
On 5 March, 2014 Google officially launched "Indoor Maps" for India. According to Google, "Indoor Maps allow to view and navigate floor plans of several commercial locations such as airports, department stores, malls, and more within Google Maps." So now Google Maps users in India can virtually browse through and locate specific locations inside venues like malls and museums. The service, is now available in 19 countries like the US, France, UK, Russia, Spain, Germany and now India.Here is a screen shot of Indoor Maps for Pacific Mall and Shipra Mall of Ghaziabad:
For Delhi-NCR region, Google Indoor feature around 20 malls covering Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Noida. The malls listed in Google Indoor Maps as of 7, March 2014 are:
