Send Documents Directly With WhatsApp WhatsApp had the functionality to share flies like Audio, Video and Photos. But there is still some functionality missing in it i.e Document Sharing. Which is now available with the latest WhatsApp Update Version 2.12.489. For now one can only share PDF documents. You won’t be able to send .docx or .doc file format. Document Sharing feature is not available in the Google Play Store but one can directly download from the WhatsApp.com website. This feature is also available for iPhone. But since I am Android user, I am sharing only details for Android OS. Here, is the link to download Android App https://www.whatsapp.com/android/. The security settings of Android will not allow you to install directly from WhatsApp site. To enable the installation you have to make changes in your Security settings Security >> Device Administration >> Unknown Sources. By enabling this feature you will allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
