Xiaomi Mi4i Vs Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) Vs Moto G II Gen Priced @ Rs. 12999

In spec and price comparison to other popular mobile phones in range of Rs. 12999, Xiaomi Mi4i is  beating its competitors. Moto G II Gen, Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) and Xiaomi Mi4i all are priced at Rs.12999 and are the best in this price range.

Display: Moto G II Gen and Mi 4i both are having 5 inches display but Mi 4i is having full HD display with 1080 x 1920 (~441 ppi pixel density) resolution whereas Moto G II Gen is having HD display with 720 x 1280 (~294 ppi pixel density) resolution. Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) on the other hand is having larger display of the three and is having 5.5 inches, HD display with 1280x720 (~267 ppi pixel density) resolution. Mi 4i having a whooping 441 ppi and is way better than the other two and other top end mobile phones ranging above 20k. Xiaomi Mi 4i at 7.8 mm is thinner than the other two, whereas Moto G II Gen is thicker at 11 mm and Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) 10.9 mm is thinner than Moto G II Gen but thicker than Mi 4i. All the three are having IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colours.

Weight: Xiaomi Mi4i weigh 130 g and is lighter than Moto G II Gen weighing around 149 g and the heaviest of the three is Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) at 170g.

Network: All the three are supporting Micro sim and are having Dual SIM dual stand-by. But Moto G II Gen is a 3G phone whereas Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) and Mi 4i are 4G LTE phone.

OS: Xiaomi Mi4i is preloaded with Android L with its custom MIUI 6 interface and Asus Zenfone 2 is also having Android L with its custom ZenUI, whereas Moto G II Gen has to be updated from Android Kit Kat to Lollipop.

Memory & Chipset: Xiaomi Mi4i is powered by 2nd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core 64-bit processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Whereas Moto G II Gen is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2 GHz with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) is powered by Intel Atom quad-core Z3560 (1.8 GHz) with 2 GB and 16 GB internal storage. Both Zenfone 2 and Moto G 2 Gen are storage can be expanded by 64 GB and 32 GB microSD card respectively. This is where Mi 4i become weaker than Moto G 2 Gen and Asus Zenfone 2, as it doesn't support expandable memory and users have to satisfied with 16 GB internal memory only.

Camera: Both Xiaomi Mi4i and Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) are having 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera with two-tone flash. Moto G II Gen is having less power camera having 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. Both Mi 4i and Zenfone 2 are capable of shooting Full HD video and 4128 x 3096 pixels still photos.  On the other hand Moto G 2 Gen is only able to capture HD video and 3264 x 2448 pixels still photos.

Facebook's Pop-Out Floating Video in News Feed for Desktop Users

Looks like Facebook is again testing the feature for Pop-Out video that floats in the news feed while scrolling news feed up and down. Facebook first tested the same feature in 2015 but was not made available for all desktop users. As of know it still seems to be in testing phase as I am not able to see this feature in the same MacBook for different browsers. Like I am able to watch the pop-out and scrolling video in Firefox browser but the same is not working in Chrome browser. The floating video option is made available through 2 options. One is a Video Pop-Out button in the current played video. You have to click on that blue pop-out button to get video moved to left hand side of the news feed.
