Google to Tie Up with Indian DTH Providers to Stream YouTube on TV Google want to cash India's increasing market of DTH service. To capture more and more people of India, Google is planning to bring YouTube on TV screens via DTH (Direct-To-Home) providers. Franciso Verala of YouTube on Global Strategy On his first trip to India, Global Director of Platform Partnerships, Francisco Varela said, "Google is making a big push to boost YouTube usage in India and is in talks with direct-to-home cable providers to bring the service to televisions screens". However, Varela didn't named the DTH providers with whom he is in talk nor he elaborate on how this integration will be done or when the service will go live.
